Ikeoluwapo Adebowale, fondly known as Ike is a Chartered Accountant and an Associate of the CIPM. She holds an MBA from Manchester Business School and a GPHR qualification. She has two decades of work experience of which 15 years is in Human Resources practice with exposure to Best Practice within the Telecoms, manufacturing, consulting and e-commerce industry. She has worked in the back end areas of Human Resources such as HR Information Systems, Compensation & Benefits, Personnel Administration, Resourcing and Payroll where her achievements have spanned redesigning processes, development and implementation of policies and organizational restructuring. She has also functioned in the capacity of Human Resource Business Partner where interaction with and coaching of leadership, implementation of company strategies, change management and organizational development is key.
Ike has worked across leading organizations in Nigeria; having played an active part in the transitioning of Airtel from V-Mobile to Celtel, Zain and now Airtel. A performance driven leader by design, Ike has also worked in HR leadership capacities at GlaxoSmithKline, Philips Consulting, Konga Online Shopping, Andela and Softcom Limited. She is currently the Chief People Officer at the Terragon Group , a Martech company with offices in African countries and UK.
Her major interests are mentoring, coaching, counseling and organizational psychology. She is a strong advocate of aligning employees’ performance with business objectives and ensuring return on investment, Ike has played key roles in transforming businesses and ensuring objectives are met while maintaining a performance driven and engaged workforce.
She has a keen interest in self-development and has a heart for helping people be the best they can be through mentoring and coaching.
